2019 Annual Concert

The Santa Barbara Youth Project is excited to announce their 11thAnnual Concert to benefit ‘at risk’ children through the therapeutic power of horses.  This year they are joined by the Santa Ynez Valley Songwriters Project to bring an amazing group of musicians to the show, all of them donatingtheir exceptional talents for this cause.

Headlining: 

 

Jonathan McEuen, has appeared on the Tonight Show, The Grand Ole Opry, and at the Bluebird Café and toured and performed with many artists including Brad Paisley, The Mavericks and Dwight Yoakam.

His father is a founding member of “The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band”.

 

Kathleen Sieck, a Valley jewel: a singer/songwriter/recording artist,

with a lyrical sense of story telling, and a lovely voice to match;

She is currently touring with Sean Cassidy and soon to be performing with him on the East Coast.

 

Steven Styles, is an accomplished songwriter and recording artist living here in the valley. He has a voice of exceptional quality and power. He has been a standout performer at every one of our benefit concerts!

 

Emily Wryn, is also a local prolific singer/songwriter whose songs have been showcased on National Public Radio as well as many venues in the Tri Counties. She has been writing and performing since the age of 13 !

 

Amber Durbin, is our youngest guest artist at 15 years old, but she started singing on stage at age 3!  She has devoted her considerable talents to supporting various non profit organizations and is coming all the way from San Diego to share her music with us.

 

The show will include two Masters of Ceremonies,  both gifted singer songwriters living in the valley and co-founders of the Valley Musicians Project : Ruben Lee Daltonand Peter Claydon(who also co-founded with his wife, Susan Miller, The Santa  Barbara Youth Project, a 501(c)3 non profit) 

 

The event will be held at Standing Sun Winery, generously provided by John Wright, a longtime supporter and advocate for local musicians and the Santa Barbara Youth Project.
